School Bus Service: - The school bus service of the Corporation is preferred the most by the parents of school going children as the safest mode of transport . The Corporation provides the buses to schools within the territory of Delhi on Special Hire.

Free/Concessional Passes: - DTC also gives Free Passes to disabled persons, war-widows & their dependents, eminent sport personalities, Freedom Fighters etc. and Concessional Passes to a variety of categories of commuters viz. Students, Senior Citizens, Residents of Resettlement Colonies, Journalists, etc.

With a view to do away with the difficulties faced by the commuters in getting their passes made/renewed, the Corporation has computerized all its pass sections. The commuters are no more required to stand in the long queues outside the pass sections for the reason. To facilitate the regular commuters of satellite-Towns, DTC is providing concessional bus pass services.

DTC Delhi in association with Delhi Integrated Multi Modal Transit System Ltd, which was initiated to suggest improvements in transport infrastructure, has launched an online passenger opinion survey seeking opinion of the commuters to pick up bus transport services. Currently, DTC runs 657 bus routes which were finalised almost 15 years back and the government-run operator now focussing on rationalising the routes to reflect the “changed transport” scenario in the city.

Anyone can buy the ticket that will be valid for travelling in DTC buses throughout the day. For ordinary buses, the fare is Rs. 20/- only. However for all city buses including GREEN LINE the fare is Rs. 25/- only.

DTC is functioning Interstate Services in 6 states and U.T. Chandigarh viz. Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pardesh, Himachal Pardesh, Rajasthan, and Jammu & Kashmir. DTC runs Air-Conditioned Deluxe, Deluxe with push-back seats, Semi-Deluxe, Ordinary Buses on Interstate Routes.
